Company Profile

-----------------------------------------------

PCTI Solutions Ltd is the leading supplier of advanced Electronic Document Management (EDM) solutions to the UK Primary Health Care Sector (doctors and nurses in general practice).

Established in 1993, the flagship product Docman was the first software system in the UK specifically designed to address electronic paper handling and integrate with General Practice clinical computer systems.

Such is its success, Docman Is considered the de-facto standard for GP document management in the UK.

PCTI has a rapidly expanding user base of over 4000 installations throughout the UK.  Notably, in 2004, PCTI were selected as the 'sole supplier' by NHS Scotland to implement Docman in every General Practice.

PCTI work closely with the major clinical software providers ensuring that the software meets the exacting requirements of customers as well as maintaining a development cycle in line with government initiatives such as the £12b "National Programme for IT" (NPfIT).  Indeed practices trust PCTI software to manage in excess of 6 million documents per month so as you would expect, a highly skilled technical team is employed to provide effective implementation and post-sales support.

As well as providing software to NHS general practice's, PCTI have an increasing number of Secondary Care (Hospital), Primary Care Trust (PCT) and Private Practice (non-NHS) customers.  PCTI also supply scanning equipment and have been the #1 reseller of Kodak and Fujitsu workgroup scanners in the UK for the last 5 years.

Field based technical staff operate from various strategic locations across the UK.  Day to day operations are controlled from our head office in Whitwood, West Yorkshire as are our sales, support, development and administration departments.
