            <title>EDT deployed in Herefordshire</title>
            <description>
            <![CDATA[ 
            <p>Herefordshire send e-discharge 
summaries using PCTI's Electronic Document Transfer Solution. NHS Herefordshire required a solution to deliver 
hospital discharge summaries and reports to GP’s quickly and accurately. The 
delivery of electronic discharge messaging direct to GP practices and the 
delivery of electronic radiology report messaging (not images) direct to GP 
practices were the key objectives of the project.</p>

Integration Centre and Assurance (NICA) Technology Office for the accreditation
to the Interoperability Toolkit (ITK) standards. PCTI’s electronic document
transfer solution, compliant to ITK standards, offers greater flexibility within
a Trusts IT infrastructure to achieve interoperability status. </p>

been successfully involved in three Interoperability Toolkit (ITK) proof of
concept projects. The consortiums demonstrated the successful send and receive
of real discharge summaries between different systems in accordance with ITK
