Khan, Practice Manager (left) Devonshire Lodge Practice, Middlesex was
the first to win an iPod in PCTI’s competition. Their practice use
Docman and the Intelligent filing and coding solution Intellisense.
Nargis
Khan highlights how Docman has transformed their practice "Once we got
used to using Docman, we thought it was a great system - a massive
improvement on how we used to do things. We even use it for all
non-patient documents and we have set up folders that suit the way in
which our practice works. I set up folders for Policies, Guidelines,
Staff Training, Meeting Minutes and other practice information. We could
never go back to manual filing, It’s much faster than scanning and
filing in the clinical system."
"Docman has really helped us in our IM&T project, and helped us organise everything into a system that everyone knows how to use. We recommend Docman to everyone that asks about it, and have even shown it to the Practice next door. We will be looking at the EDT module to capture discharge letters from our nhs net account next."
