Recommended Scanners
|
PCTI
are the leading provider of workgroup scanners to UK General
Practice. As the leading supplier, we know what to
recommend, at the best price and how to support it. Our
support team has direct access to manufacturer support ensuring
that any problems are resolved quickly.
Below is the current range of scanners we recommend for General
Practice use.
Kodak and Fujitsu also produce scanners who's specifications exceed
the requirements of 99% of general practices - these are not
listed. However, we are happy to provide guidance and
pricing on any scanner / level of performance you have in mind.

Choosing the right scanner
Choice
Selecting the right scanner for general
practice scanning isn't as straight
forward as you may think. Budget
scanners dominate the high street but
simply aren't able to withstand the
demands of practice's needs.
Experience
We have experience of all types of
scanners but have settled on Kodak & Fujitsu as our primary
recommendations for general practice. Whilst certainly not the
cheapest on the market, our experience is that both
suppliers offer the best in price/performance & reliability
for typical practice use by far.
Service
A scanner quickly becomes a mission
critical piece of equipment for any practice that scans.
Our relationships with both Kodak and Fujitsu enable us to
provide a free
1 year, next day swap out service on
their respective workgroup models. |
