Choosing the right scanner
Choice
Selecting the right scanner for general
practice scanning isn't as straight
forward as you may think. Budget
scanners dominate the high street but
simply aren't able to withstand the
demands of practice's needs.
Experience
We have experience of all types of
scanners but have settled on Kodak & Fujitsu as our primary
recommendations for general practice. Whilst certainly not the
cheapest on the market, our experience is that both
suppliers offer the best in price/performance & reliability
for typical practice use by far.
Service
A scanner quickly becomes a mission
critical piece of equipment for any practice that scans.
Our relationships with both Kodak and Fujitsu enable us to
provide a free
1 year minimum, next day swap out service on
their respective workgroup models. |

The i1220 has replaced the popular i40 and

unique features like the ability to "tilt
and scan" which reduces the scanning angle
whilst retaining a small footprint. You may
also attach an optional "tethered" flatbed
which is unique to any scanner in its class
and negates the need for a separate flatbed
scanner. For practices scanning up to
